The Village of Montemarcello<\/h3>\n

On the border between Liguria and Tuscany lies the Carpione promontory at the center of which is the village of Montemarcello at an elevation of 250m above sea level. <\/em><\/p>\n

Montemarcello, a village already known in Roman times taking its name from the consul Marcello, has been included since 2006 in the list of the 100 most beautiful villages in Italy (borghipiubelliditalia.it) and is within the Montemarcello-Magra Natural Park (www.parcomagra.it).<\/em><\/p>\n

Beautiful old-building paths and walking tracks set off from the village surrounded by maritime pines, olive trees, myrtles and the natural atmosphere of the park. In less than 30 minutes by car, you can reach both the coastal resorts of Versilia and the famous seaside resorts of Lerici and Tellaro with easy access by boat to the Cinque Terre, as well as the Lunigiana and Garfagnana areas making Montemarcello a secluded place, but with the possibility of appreciating multiple experiences. <\/em><\/p>\n

The sea can be reached directly from the house on foot at Punta Corvo beach in 20 minutes, but\u2026watch out for the climb! Easier-to-reach locations are 10 minutes away by car as Punta Bianca. Lastly, Montemarcello is also called \u201cthe bikers\u2019 hill\u201d being traveled all year round by cyclists who try their hand along the three climbs up to the village as well as on mountain bikes through many trails.<\/em><\/p>\n
